An established business based in Tockwith is looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join its friendly and experienced finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance, as full training will be provided. The role focuses on purchase ledger processing and providing day-to-day financial administration support.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
- Scanning and matching delivery notes to invoices
- Checking, processing, and batch-posting invoices
- Handling invoice queries via email and liaising with suppliers
- Barcoding invoices and uploading documents to Sage
- Assisting with cash management and bank reconciliations
- Updating cashbooks and recording payments in Sage
- Supporting freelancer and supplier payment runs
- Updating cashflow forecasts (including weekly freelancer cashflows)
- Assisting with period-end procedures
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations
Skills & Experience
- Previous finance administration experience beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work under pressure
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
Salary & Benefits
- Β£25,500 per annum (Β£13.46 per hour)
- 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- 9:00amβ5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break
- On-site parking
- Training and development within an established finance team
