We are working with a well-established and growing business in Middlesbrough to recruit an ambitious Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone with up to a year's experience to gain practical finance experience whilst studying for a fully funded AAT qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Provide cover for the Accountant when needed
About You
- Some prior experience in accounts or finance administration is desirable
- Knowledge of Sage is a plus but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confident in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
