Overview

We are working closely with a Thirsk based organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator to their team. You will have proven experience within a similar role and be familiar with using Sage50. You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, whilst ensuring deadlines are adhered to.

Responsibilities

  • Follow upon disputed invoices with the relevant departments and liaise with suppliers
  • Check supplier statements on a monthly basis and update records accordingly
  • Customer invoicing
  • Process card payments and allocate customer receipts
  • Credit checks for new customers
  • General office duties
  • Any other tasks as required
  • Provide efficient and professional internal and external telephone services, transferring all calls accordingly
  • Process sales and purchase invoices, match delivery notes and input onto SAGE
  • Follow upon disputed invoices with the relevant departments and liaise with suppliers
  • Check supplier statements on a monthly basis and update records accordingly
  • Customer invoicing
  • Company credit control and reporting
  • Process card payments and allocate customer receipts
  • Credit checks for new customers
  • Manage the accounts inbox and maintain Excel spreadsheets
  • General office duties
  • Any other tasks as required
