Your impact: As Commercial and Market Insight Manager, you'll be the commercial heartbeat of NFU Sugar. You'll provide the analytical and market insight firepower in the £250m annual negotiations with British Sugar plc. Your work will impact directly on the profitability and long term resilience of the UK sugar beet sector. In this pivotal role, you will:
- Act as NFU Sugar's commercial lead, shaping agreements that secure the best possible outcomes for beet growers.
- Be part of NFU Sugar's commercial negotiation team and manage strategically important commercial relationships.
- Deliver market intelligence, commercial analysis and technical insight that underpin industry-wide decisions.
- Work closely with NFU's Sugar Board, ensuring all agreements are robust, evidence-based and firmly in the growers' best interests.

About you: You'll bring strong analytical capability, commercial acumen, and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders in high profile, high stakes environments. Our ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in a numerate analytical discipline.
- Significant experience in financial and market analysis.
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex market and economic data.
- Experience managing contracts, negotiations, or commercially sensitive discussions.
- Excellent relationship building skills and the confidence to work with senior executives and board members.
- A self-driven approach, comfortable working independently and prioritising deadlines.
Desirable: Knowledge of the sugar industry, agriculture, and international trade policy.
