About the Agency
As a local agency of NFU Mutual we deliver a first-class service, and sell their product range across our region, to customers old and new, who are at the core of everything we do.

As well as selling commercial insurance you will cross sell the full range of NFU Mutual products, including financial services, risk management services and our range of motor and personal insurances.
You can sell with confidence, knowing that our experienced account handlers will ensure that the new business you’ve worked so hard to generate is well looked after come renewal.
About You
If the following skills relate to you and you’d relish the challenge of being part of our hard working and ambitious team, please get in touch:
- A pro-active and charismatic individual with the ability to articulate the added value we bring clients through our products and customer service, rather than selling on price.
- You will need to be a fast learner with an ability to retain information and be comfortable working within a regulated environment.
- A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with business owners, directors and key decision-makers.
- Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to generate your own opportunities and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects.
- A consultative salesperson who enjoys understanding a client's business and identifying opportunities to provide tailored solutions.
- Someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships.
- Someone who is confident working across various software including a Client Relationship Management system.
We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of sales success.
Experience in insurance is highly desirable.
You can expect full training on NFU Mutual products with the potential for financial support to achieve or further your professional qualifications.
You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's at Level 5 / Grade C or above including English Language and Mathematics.
Benefits
- The starting salary will be £40,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience.
- 5% commission paid for commercial new business sold, so your total earnings are in your own control.
- The position is full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with a one hour lunch break.
- Whilst this role is advertised as full-time, we are open to discussing flexible working options, including reduced or condensed hours, for an exceptional candidate.
- The holiday allowance is 25 days, plus bank holidays and you will also receive an additional days holiday to be taken on your birthday.
