A leadership opportunity for ambitious B2B sales professionals.
Run a fully operational agency in collaboration with an experienced business partner. Drive new business growth and the agency’s expansion in SME / Commercial markets. Advise on bespoke commercial insurance solutions with the support of NFU Mutual.
At NFU Mutual, our reputation is built on supporting the UK’s farming industry and rural supply chain. From this platform, we’re able to diversify our expertise to cater for a wider business landscape, providing tailored solutions to a range of commercial enterprises from local SMEs through to larger, complex £multi-million corporations.
Here in the NFU Mutual Wormbridge agency, we’re looking for a B2B sales professional to join the agency’s leadership team as a Partner, to accelerate expansion of the agency’s Commercial Lines business.
This is the perfect career step for an ambitious sales professional ready to progress into their first leadership role, supported by a long-standing Senior Partner and team of experienced staff.
As a Partner in the NFU Mutual Wormbridge agency, your focus will be on:
- Delivering new business growth across an expanding range of Commercial Lines products, targeting local independents and SMEs far and wide.
- Building and nurturing client relationships with key decision makers, ensuring high renewal rates are maintained with unrivalled customer care.
- Working collaboratively with the Senior Partner on setting strategy and shaping business plans that help optimise the agency’s future performance and drive sustainable, profitable growth.
This is a self-employed business opportunity for an ambitious Sales professional showing true potential to step into leadership. B2B consultative sales or business development with key account management to advise business owners, directors and senior decision makers across a diverse range of industry sectors.
Whilst people management skills are preferred, more critical are leadership qualities and attitude; it takes ambition, drive, commercial acumen and proactivity to develop into a high-performing business leader.
Given the agency’s rural and farming heritage, any connection or exposure here would be advantageous but not essential.
You’ll inherit an established and fully operational business with no up-front capital investment required. Your drive and ambition are the only limits to your future earning potential.
A ready-made, loyal client base with an average of 9 in 10 customers choosing to renew their policies with NFU Mutual.
Our commitment to set you up for success and help you along the way. Whilst it’s your business to run, you’ll have access to a host of NFU Mutual training and support services including sales, marketing, financial planning, and more.
This is a unique career opportunity, combining the independence of self-employment with the stability of an established business model, and supported by the strength and reputation of NFU Mutual, one of the UK’s most trusted insurance providers.
