About the role
NFU Mutual have an exciting opportunity for a talented recruiter to join our large Resourcing team as a permanent Direct Resourcing Consultant (DRC) to support in managing vacancies and end-to-end recruitment for our IT and Finance divisions.
You’ll be working collaboratively with other Resourcing Consultants and Resourcing Business Partners, delivering a best in class recruitment service. All our Resourcing Consultants act as industry experts for the skills we recruit for the business, so you’ll be bringing your professional experience to drive our candidate attraction and direct sourcing to effectively engage with high calibre talent with the right skills, representing our employer brand.

Responsibilities include:
- Taking vacancy briefings and managing the vacancy through to appointment, ensuring a fair and robust process
- Writing job adverts to ensure maximum impact of talent attraction
- Reviewing and evaluating candidates fairly and conducting candidate interviews to assess suitability to roles
- Engage with prospective candidates to discuss opportunities in NFUM’s IT and Finance Division, highlighting the benefits and pipelining for vacancies
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to update on vacancies, advise of next steps and to establish and build long-term relationships
- Use social media channels to build a strong presence for NFU Mutual’s IT and Finance Division
- Ensure a first-class candidate experience is delivered throughout the recruitment process
- Utilise multiple channels to source and attract the best talent
- Creating effective talent pools for skilled professionals in your business areas and engage proactively with passive candidates to maintain talent pools
- Carry out direct sourcing methodologies to attract the best talent for NFUM
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have solid end-to-end recruitment experience with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously. You’ll possess a proven track record of direct sourcing and candidate attraction using different tools such as social media, job boards, Boolean searches and networking. Additionally, excellent stakeholder management skills and a real passion to deliver both an exceptional recruitment service for your business area as well as providing an outstanding candidate journey is essential. Additional experience, skills and attributes we are looking for include:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse with multiple internal and external stakeholders effectively
- Experience using and maintaining an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to support in managing and monitoring multiple vacancy journeys from start to finish
- Experience in creating successful candidate attraction methods and headhunting
- Excellent attention to detail whilst maintaining a level-headedness to deliver results in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Excellent influencing skills with the ability to negotiate when required
- Highly self-motivated and driven with a positive can-do attitude, and is a real team player

NFU Mutual are happy to offer its employees informal homeworking. Our team is located in Stratford-upon-Avon and it would be expected that on average, 50% of your working time would be located from this office with the remaining days home based should you wish. Due to COVID-19, our employees continue to work from home and a return to the office is being planned for later in the year.
