About the role:
As a Commercial Account Handler within our team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, playing your part to ensure the office runs like clockwork and that our customers are always happy. You will deal with policy amendments, sales and claims for our customers and build long-lasting relationships. Above all though, you will relish the challenge of being part of a truly client focused, ambitious team. You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills to ensure you sell professionally and compliantly. Always delivering a consistently good experience to customers, you’ll meet the requirements and standards of NFUM, the T&C scheme and our regulators. This role falls under the Insurance Distribution Directive. This means there is a requirement for Continuous Professional Development in role, in addition to ongoing screening checks once in post.
About you:
Patient and reassuring, you always go at the customers’ pace, making them feel comfortable whether you’re discussing a policy renewal, answering general queries, or looking at new insurance opportunities. Enthusiastic, willing to learn and open to new ideas you bring an approachable style to building relationships with customers and colleagues alike. It is also essential that you have the following:
- Experience in customer service – flexible on industry but great if you have banking, financial services or farming background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational & administrative skills
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs 9-5, or equivalent, including Maths and English
