The role involves contributing to the effective and efficient running of the agency, identifying and pursuing opportunities to achieve targets including sales and lead generation for general insurance and financial services, while meeting customer service standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and processing amendments to policies arising from changes to cover and circumstance, seeking opportunities for cross-selling.
  • Delivering and contributing to the effective running of the agency, including managing correspondence, processing renewals, and policy amendments.
  • Maintaining customer relationships to enhance and protect NFU Mutual’s reputation and brand.
  • Selling motor and home products within licensed authority, ensuring compliance with sales quality and advice standards.
  • Checking, processing, and managing accounting transactions, including premium collection and policy cancellation.
  • Maintaining knowledge and skills to sell professionally and compliantly, delivering a consistently good experience to customers.

About you:

  • Demonstrate drive, energy, and enthusiasm to promote a positive learning environment and sales culture.
  • Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade C or above.
  • An understanding of agriculture would be beneficial but not essential.
