Job description: Agency (Office) Manager Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year NFU Mutual, a leading general insurer and financial services company, has been serving the rural community for over 100 years. As their local agency office in Enniskillen, we deliver their award winning service and sell their product range across the county, championing the honest, personal approach to customer service theyre famous for. NFU Mutual\’s agency in Enniskillen is currently recruiting for an Agency Manager to join our team. The role of the Agency manager is the person who keeps our office running smoothly while also enabling fellow employees to succeed in their roles. Typical duties of the role include: Managing employee schedules Helping establish and maintain office procedures Assisting with staff recruitment and development Responsible for driving sales, securing work and implementing follow up Assist with the daily operational workload planning Maintain both physical and digital records while ensuring adherence with data protection legislation and company protocols Co-ordinate sales, administrative and customer service activity, getting involved in special campaigns and projects along the way Lead, manage, motivate and develop direct reports so that team members are able to maximise their contribution to business objectives and realise their potential. Manage and report on important business information as required. Analyse the Agency Regulatory performance to identify trends to rectify any areas of concern and maintain a green quality dashboard, flagging any possible issues to the Agents. Create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and safety. Maintaining and growing Ulster Farmers Union membership Sell NFU Mutual Insurance and introduce Financial Services to clients. Assisting Agents as required Essential Criteria Hold Bachelors degree level (e.g. BSc, BA, BAgr) qualification in an agricultural or business related subject and/or minimum of two years experience in a managerial role Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to establish rapport and develop relationships with staff and customers Ambitious, self-motivated person with good organisational skills and desire to play a positive role in building a successful business Flexible and enjoy working with people Desirable Criteria Ability to learn on the job and adapt to changes Possess a good working knowledge of computers including windows applications Experience in using CRM systems Our commitment to you Monday – Friday 9 to 5 (No weekend work) Pension scheme Access to savings scheme for shops, restaurants & hotel breaks Free on-site parking Comprehensive training Generous annual leave (21 days) plus 11 bank/public holidays and an additional 1 holiday day for your birthday.
