About the role
As a Lead Generator within our team in the Canterbury and Sittingbourne Agency, you’ll support the growth of our business by generating high‑quality leads for our Commercial, Personal and Financial Services teams.
- Lead Generation – Contact new business opportunities for commercial insurance through outbound calls, emails, networking, referrals and local canvassing.
- Prospect Research – Research and identify potential new commercial insurance customers.
- Networking & Community Engagement – Represent the agency and the NFU Mutual brand at local business networking events, trade shows and industry events to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
- Relationship Building – Build strong working relationships with local businesses, groups and stakeholders to develop long‑term lead opportunities and referrals.
- CRM & Data Management – Record and track lead activity using internal CRM tools and processes. Ensure all interactions are accurately captured and followed up in a timely and professional manner.
- Cross‑Selling – Contact existing customers to identify cross‑sell opportunities for insurance and financial services.
- Compliance & Conduct – Ensure all activity is undertaken in a compliant, customer‑centric way, acting in line with FCA principles and NFU Mutual’s internal policies.
About you
