We are recruiting for a Marketing Director to lead our marketing team and drive strategic marketing initiatives which position NFP as a leader in the commercial and general insurance and human capital consulting industry.

Overview of duties

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the UK and Ireland businesses to support business growth and new business generation.
  • Lead the integrated sales strategy including campaign planning, education on the suite of NFP services both internally and externally, collate and use data to drive our ‘Just One’ strategy.
  • Use data driven insights and measurement to establish the return on investment for marketing campaigns and events to ensure the strategy is the correct one and that initiatives are generating ROI.
  • Act as a partner to the Executive Board to support sales strategies within each business line.
  • Work in conjunction with HR leaders to build and develop the Employee Value Proposition and to attract talented individuals to NFP.
  • Build strong relationships with corporate marketing team in USA, leveraging their resources when needed and working in partnership.
  • Involvement in new acquisitions including planning of re-brands and marketing integration via the marketing team.
  • Oversee digital and traditional marketing channels including content marketing, SEO, social media and PR campaigns, ensuring compliance with FCA and CBI regulations.
  • Lead on internal communications and partner with the HR team supporting the development of the ‘One NFP’ brand.
  • Lead the team to deliver a range of marketing events such as in-person events, webinars, charity days and sponsored events which reinforce the NFP brand.

Person specification

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Strength of personality – someone who is able to have a peer to peer relationship with sellers and often difficult business line leaders.
  • Independence – this person needs to own their world.
  • Nimble – the role will require a fast mover and a high degree of collaboration with sales leadership in each business line.

Education / and or Experience

  • Industry experience in a B to C environment – ideally broking but not necessarily.
  • Experience – we need someone who has been there and done it, specifically in a multi-business line environment where cross selling has been a major initiative.
