We are hiring a Power Platform Developer to join the team. The organisation is an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in his name without discrimination.
Position: VAC0144 Power Platform Developer
Location: London/Hybrid (office-based with a chance to have a flexible working day only after probation)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £54,867.49 pa plus travel to work allowance up to £3,800 pa
Contract: Permanent
Benefits: Contributory pension scheme; generous travel to work allowance; 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays per annum; café discount.

About the Role
In brief, this role involves:
- Using your Power Platform expertise to design and develop user-friendly solutions, and providing technical guidance to other developers who are working on Power Platform based apps.
You will:
- Develop and maintain custom applications using canvas and model-driven Power Apps
- Develop workflows and integrations using Power Automate
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reports
- Design and build Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL data models
- Support the software development lifecycle including gathering requirements, testing, documentation, and deployment
- Keep up to date with Power Platform best practice
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of professional software development
- Proficiency in Power Platform and SQL data stores such as MySQL/SQL Server
- The ability to design functional and attractive UIs as part of the development process
- The ability to guide less experienced developers in the optimal usage of Power Platform
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good customer facing skills
- Empathy with the aims and ethos of charity.
