Senior Finance Officer
We are seeking an experienced and organised Senior Finance Officer to join a growing charity, supporting vital services that help people overcome homelessness.
Position: Senior Finance Officer
Salary: £33,635 rising incrementally to £37,035
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

About the role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional who wants to use their skills to make a real difference.
Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will help ensure the smooth running of the charity's day-to-day finances, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting and managing two Accounts Assistants.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate accounting records up to trial balance.
- Processing purchase invoices, managing supplier queries and reconciling the purchase ledger.
- Preparing weekly BACS payments and completing daily and monthly
