About the role

We are seeking an experienced, ambitious and proactive Individual Giving Fundraiser to join a growing fundraising team within the health sector. This role focuses on recruiting new individual supporters through a variety of channels, including digital, face‑to‑face and direct marketing. You will play a key role in driving growth in individual giving by planning, delivering and optimising multi‑channel acquisition campaigns. Working collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising and supporter engagement, you will help build strong, long‑term relationships with supporters and ensure they feel proud to support health‑focused work that makes a real difference to patients and communities.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategy and planning
    • Contribute to the development and delivery of the individual giving strategy, acting as the subject matter expert for supporter acquisition
    • Devise, implement and optimise an annual supporter acquisition plan aligned with wider fundraising objectives
  • Fundraising and supporter acquisition
    • Plan and deliver multi‑channel campaigns to recruit new supporters and grow individual giving income
    • Use testing and learning to continuously improve campaign performance
    • Work closely with supporter experience colleagues to design and deliver a high‑quality, personalised welcome journey for new supporters
  • Data and reporting
    • Monitor performance against agreed KPIs, including cost per acquisition and lifetime value
    • Use data insight and analysis to make recommendations and adapt plans to ensure best use of budget
    • Prepare clear reports and share learning with colleagues and stakeholders

Essential skills and experience

  • Experience working in individual giving, fundraising or digital marketing
  • Proven experience delivering campaigns that recruit new supporters or customers
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence working with data, budgets and performance metrics
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working as part of a team
