We are recruiting for a HR Assistant , to join our HR Team , based in Bromsgrove .

You will be responsible for providing HR generalist support to the HR Advisors across UK&I and the wider HR Team. You will be supporting with all areas of HR including HR queries, onboarding and offboarding and various HR admin tasks including adhoc project work as required.

Overview of duties

  • Support the HR Advisors across UK&I with all areas of HR administration
  • Provide HR support to the wider HR team as required (L&D, Talent & Senior Managers)
  • Produce regular reports and trends for the HR Advisors including sickness absence stats
  • Produce regular MI packs for the HR Operations Manager
  • Work across the HR Team to support continuous improvement with a focus of reviewing current policies, processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for efficiency across the wider team
  • Support the HR team on DEIB and health and wellbeing initiatives
  • Support the recruitment process and work closely with the talent acquisition team to ensure high quality hiring and inductions
  • Take lead of the onboarding and offboarding process of all new and existing employees
  • Support HR projects as required across all areas of HR
  • Manage accurate HR records and reports ensuring data integrity
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within NFP, demonstrating professional credibility
  • Assist with queries from employees on the HR Portal
  • Carry out any other duties deemed fit by your Manager

Person specification:

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Can demonstrate discretion with high integrity to ensure confidentiality
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Good influencing skills
  • Computer literate and experience/good working knowledge of Office 365
  • Competent excel skills
  • Experienced HR professional with pragmatic approach to work
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise work load and be self motivated
  • Excellent attention to detail

Education and/or Experience:

  • Good knowledge of employment law
  • Good understanding of HR Processes
  • Experience with day to day HR practices
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification desirable
  • Experience in the financial services industry desirable

Key information:

Hours: 35 hours Monday – Friday

Location: Bromsgrove – Hybrid
