About The Role

We are recruiting a Senior Tax Associate to join a fast-paced, dynamic team, working with exciting clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, supporting UK tax compliance and informing clients of deadlines.
  • Correspond with clients, gather information for filings, and liaise with internal teams.
  • Prepare and analyze complex UK tax returns, communicating implications to management or clients.
  • Draft tax advisory work for individuals and support complex advisory projects.
  • Oversee and delegate tasks to junior staff, review work, and monitor deadlines.
  • Prioritize workload effectively and participate in internal training sessions.

Person Specification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to understand technical concepts and research legislation.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills for client queries and issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, personable, and confident with client and team relationships.
  • Attention to detail and high-quality work standards.

Experience and Education

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a personal tax role, working with Owner Managed Businesses.
  • Completed or working towards ATT and CTA qualifications.

Additional Information

  • Location: Bromsgrove
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours/week
