As an Assistant Manager of Wendy’s, you will
- Under the leadership of the Restaurant General Manager, you will manage the daily operations and staff of a Wendy’s restaurant
- Focus specifically on staffing, training, and scheduling, all of which will help build and retain a 5-star team
- Identify talent and empower your team to grow by providing coaching & development
- Use effective scheduling to ensure your team is the right place at the right time
- Be the face of the restaurant to new hires, and crew members’
- This one’s a no-brainer: you’re key to increasing store sales and profit goals.
- Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the business, both Front of House and Back of House
- Support with local marketing opportunities to drive sales and the presence of your restaurant in your local area
- Ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
- Help in building a passionate, engaged team that provide a great guest experience and can support with future new site opening
What you bring to the table
- Experience leading people, even better if you did it in a food service environment.
- 1 year of line operations experience; with demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast-paced environment.
- 1 year of management experience
- Flexibility to work 44-hour work weeks – must be available all-day parts and days of the week.
Responsibilities Include
- Manage and supervise Supervisors, Shift Leaders, and Team Members
- Support the General Manager to oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure all Company standards are adhered to.
- Support the delivery of all key training with the General Manager and identifying training needs and capability gaps within the team.
- Ensure that all audit requirements are adhered to, including Health and Safety, Food Audits, Stock take, EHO and Financial Audits
- Build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards the business objectives.
- Support the manager to control costs without compromising standards and the Wendy’s guest experience, through weekly and daily line checks.
- Working in Back of House helping and training the team during peak times
- Comply with all legislative and Company Food Hygiene and Health & Safety requirements and help promote a positive safety culture throughout the business.
You’re willing and able to
- Travel to other locations (restaurants, area office, etc.) as needed.
