We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Community Carers to support individuals in their own homes across St Helens, Widnes, Warrington, and Runcorn. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing within the local community.
Driving Information
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred due to travel between clients. However, non-drivers will also be considered, particularly for applicants located close to client rounds or able to access shifts via public transport. We welcome applications from both drivers and non-drivers.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Supporting with medication (after training)
- Assisting with mobility and moving & handling
- Supporting with meals and hydration
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Completing accurate care documentation
- Following safeguarding and infection control procedures
Shift Patterns
- Flexible rotas available including:
- Morning shifts
- Afternoon shifts
- Evening shifts
- Alternate weekends required
- Bank shifts available (Shifts typically between 7am – 10pm)
What We’re Looking For
- Caring, patient, and professional attitude
- Previous care experience preferred but not essential (full training provided)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently in the community
- Right to work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS check is required, and we will cover the full cost of your DBS application.
