About The Role

Weekend Care Assistant - Domiciliary Care

Are you caring, compassionate and wanting to make a real difference to the lives of others? Part time weekend work in the Cannock/Chadsmoor area - shifts are 7am - 2pm and 3pm - 10pm every weekend.

As a care assistant you will provide care to individuals in their own home to ensure they remain as independent as possible for as long as possible. The role will include support with:

  • Personal care - washing, showering and toileting
  • Promoting dignity
  • Medication administration
  • Food preparation
  • Domestic help including laundry and general cleaning

About You

Our care assistants are required to work in Cannock/Chadsmoor and surrounding areas. Candidates must be able to commute to their customers by using their own vehicle for work purposes. We are currently unable to accept non-drivers for this area due to the nature of the business and areas covered. Candidates must live in a 5 mile radius of the area of work.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients, families and other healthcare professionals
  • Compassionate, caring and empathetic
  • Previous experience preferred but not essential as full training and support given
  • Driving licence and access to own vehicle for work purposes
  • Right to work in UK
