Community Care Assistant – Teas and Beds (Cannock & Chadsmoor Areas)

Nexxus Care is looking for compassionate and reliable Community Care Assistants to support individuals in their own homes. You will provide person-centred care, assisting with personal care, meal preparation, eating and drinking, shopping, and potentially palliative or end-of-life support.
This is a community-based role, so a full UK driving licence and access to your own car are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support in line with care plans
- Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking
- Carry out shopping and household tasks
- Support residents and their families with dignity and compassion
- Report any changes in service user needs to your supervisor
About You
We are looking for individuals who are:

- Resilient and able to handle the challenges of care work
- Flexible with shift patterns (7am–10pm, e.g., 7am–2:30pm or 2:30pm–10pm)
Requirements

- Ability to provide at least 2 professional references
- Attendance at a 4-day paid induction/training
