About The Role

Nexxus Care is seeking a dedicated senior care assistant to support the home management team in delivering high-quality care with a difference by providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff at Bracken House, a 34-bedded residential facility. The senior care assistant will report to the management team and will be responsible for all aspects of the physical and emotional care of the residents, providing leadership of the care team, including the supervision and training of staff. The role will also involve providing close liaison with other healthcare professionals.

We are looking for a well-organised individual, adept at allocating and delegating work appropriately, with a proven ability to lead and supervise others, and a good understanding of care. You will be trained to administer medications, complete audits and risk assessments, and provide thorough detailed person-centred care plans.

About You

  • Guaranteed hours are available on a 2-week rolling rota (shifts: 7am–2:30pm/2:30pm–2:10pm, including alternate weekends).

Experience: supervisory: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification: NVQ 3 (preferred or working towards)
