Residential Care Assistant – Meadowyrthe, Tamworth

Nexxus Care is looking for compassionate, motivated people to join our friendly team at Meadowyrthe, a 41-bedded dementia based residential home.

We have part time contracts available (21 hour and 28 hour), shifts: 7am–2:30pm / 2:30pm–10pm, including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing – as a Care Assistant, you’ll provide person-centred care with kindness and respect, making a real difference to the lives of our residents. Duties may include:

• Assisting with washing, bathing, dressing and personal care, while promoting independence and dignity
• Supporting residents at mealtimes, making sure dietary needs are met and recorded
• Following individual care plans, respecting personal choices, and keeping clear documentation
• Joining in and encouraging residents during activities, creating moments of joy and connection

Qualifications

• A warm, caring and patient nature
• A genuine interest in supporting people to live well
• Reliability and the ability to work as part of a team
• No previous experience needed – just the right attitude
