About Us

We are establishing a new independent secure ambulance and specialist patient transport company based in Lancashire. In the startup phase we are seeking an experienced CQC Registered Manager to work with the directors to establish the service and lead our CQC registration. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing a new organisation from the ground up.

The Role

  • Lead and support the CQC registration process.
  • Help develop the company’s policies, procedures and governance systems.
  • Ensure the service is designed to meet all relevant CQC regulations and quality standards.
  • Advise on operational setup, staffing and compliance.
  • Prepare the service for launch and ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with the directors to build a safe, effective and high-quality service.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager or senior manager in an ambulance or patient transport service.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and ambulance service compliance.
  • Experience with governance, safeguarding and quality assurance.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience with secure mental health transport.
  • Experience supporting new CQC registrations.
  • Clinical background (Paramedic, Nurse or similar).
