My client is a leading, independent Estate Agency and Lettings brand who have been established for many years. They are looking for an experienced ARLA qualified Lettings Manager with strong people management skills who will be responsible for the day to day operation of the lettings department including business generation, valuations, training and coaching staff members, ensuring compliance, client care and managing long term existing relationships with landlords and tenants.
Main Duties for the Lettings Manager Role:
- Manage and mentor the lettings team members to ensure they are appropriately motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the lettings department, ensuring compliance and effective staff cover at all times.
- Chair morning meetings and ensure they are energetic, focused and actively participated in by the whole team.
- Nurture and develop new opportunities and contacts within the local business community to facilitate letting of the portfolio.
- Conduct market appraisals to gain completed client instructions.
- Ensure effective linkage and communication with property management and accounts departments.
