Electrician

Purpose of the role is to join a team of electrical and mechanical engineers and work as a senior qualified electrician, supporting the team as required in a niche market, ensuring an elite level of engineering.

Essential:

• Service and maintenance of electrical systems

• Fault diagnostics of electrical circuits

• Experience of electrical diagnostics and repairs essential

• Willingness or ability to multi-trade during quieter periods

• Work is targeted in Greater London and surrounding suburbs

• Must have a clean UK driving license

• Be flexible to work overtime when needed and work the call-out rota as and when implemented

• Ability to operate a laptop and mobile work report application

• Electrical installation works

Advantage (not essential)

• Certification or experience in plumbing, air conditioning, green energy systems, or heating

• Any major manufacturer qualifications

Experience:

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Good time keeping and ability to plan ahead

• Able to work well in a team or driven enough to work alone

• More than 6 years experience

Qualification Requirements:

• 18th Edition Electrical

• NVQ/City and Guilds Level 3

• 2391 Testing and Inspection

Scope, scale, and authority of the role

· This is a senior engineering role which is flexible around the priorities of the day-to-day operation and subject to changes, working alone or as part of a team. Ability and willingness to mentor and train apprentices and intermediate engineers.

About you

· Strong organisational skills – able to log and interpret data in support of engineers as needed

· Capable of using software on mobile devices, interpreting works and documentation for office use, and documenting to learn new skills

· Flexible and multi-tasking, happy to adapt to changing priorities and demands.

· In case of an out-of-hours call out, you’d need a can-do attitude
