Job Title: Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager Location: West Drayton, London Job Type: Full-time | Onsite Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Nexus Workforce Solutions are currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-driven Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in West Drayton. You’ll be stepping into a hands-on, impactful role where you will lead supply chain and procurement functions, support internal teams, and help drive operational efficiency. Role Overview This supervisory-level position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing purchasing, inventory, and supplier relationships. The role is fully onsite with working hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities * Manage end-to-end supply chain activities including purchasing, inventory control, and logistics * Create and manage purchase orders and maintain stock replenishment levels * Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support cost control and supply continuity * Negotiate with and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery * Identify and assess new supplier opportunities while reducing reliance on low-impact vendors * Analyse KPIs, spend data, and lead times to inform purchasing decisions * Collaborate with internal teams to optimise supply chain processes * Supervise daily purchasing operations and maintain high administrative accuracy * Contribute to planning, forecasting, and supplier review meetings with senior management Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who has: * Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, or purchasing * A strong grasp of supplier negotiation, stock control, and cost management * Excellent Excel and systems skills (experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus) * A proactive, organised, and detail-focused approach * Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise across all business levels * Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities KPIs & Performance Measures * On-time supplier deliveries and stock availability * Cost-saving targets met through procurement strategy * Supplier base rationalisation and spend control * Accurate forecasting and data-driven decision making * Supplier quality, cost, and delivery performance (QCD) Company Benefits * Competitive salary: £35,000 – £40,000 * Performance-based company bonus * 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing with service * Free on-site parking * Career progression opportunities * Modern office environment with kitchen and breakout areas How to Apply If you’re ready to step into a leadership role within purchasing and supply chain management, apply now with your CV.
