Nexus Studios is a global creative studio working with award-winning directors across animation, artful live-action and immersive to redefine the boundaries of entertainment. Our work has received accolades from BAFTA, Emmy, Grammy, Academy Awards to name a few. We work with the world\’s leading cultural brands and have a deep rooted history in innovation, XR and crafted storytelling.
The Role:
We\’re looking for a brand design lead who moves fluently between strategy and craft, who can build a brand system from the ground up and sweat the details without losing the big picture. This role is central to defining a next-generation sports platform inside a real-time, spatial environment. You\’ll help shape a design language that lives across brand, UX, motion, and immersive surfaces.
This work isn\’t brand as product, product as brand. You\’ll partner directly with our UI designers to ensure the system you build is purposeful, scalable, and UX-driven. Every decision—from typography to motion to visual hierarchy—will connect back to how users move through the app.
Requirements
What You\’ll Do:
- Translate strategic positioning into a bold, expressive brand identity
- Lead concept development, design systems, and storytelling for brand visuals
- Co-develop the product design system with UI leads to ensure seamless integration between brand and UX
- Collaborate closely with motion, product, 3D, and spatial design leads
- Work with our CD to shape presentations and design rationale for internal and client-facing reviews
- Contribute to key workshop inputs, brand briefs, and naming systems
- Help ensure cohesion across all outputs—from high-concept decks to build-ready assets
What We\’re Looking For:
- A highly conceptual designer with a clear, opinionated point of view
- Systems-thinker who knows how to stretch a core idea across formats and surfaces
- Deep experience creating brand identity systems
- Strong visual taste, impeccable typography, and confident compositional instincts
- Ability to move between explorative and executional modes seamlessly
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, multidisciplinary teams
- Background in motion or 3D is a plus, but not required
- Passion for culture, sports, or immersive media is welcome but not mandatory
The Role Is Right For You If:
- You\’ve worked at top-tier design studios or led brand work inside a creative agency or product company
- You bring high standards and deep craft, but care more about the idea than the aesthetic trend
- You want to help shape a brand with soul, not just polish
- If you have a background that translates directly into digital products
- You believe brand and product should be built together, not bolted on
Benefits
This is a Nexus-led role, embedded in a highly collaborative, partner-facing development environment. You\’ll help define not just what we build, but how we build it—shaping the product team structure, delivery approach, and evolution of a platform with global reach. If you\’re excited about building what\’s next in immersive media, and fan engagement, we\’d love to talk.
Nexus Studios is proud to work with extraordinary talent as an equal opportunity employer. We embrace individuals of all backgrounds regardless of gender, race, age, abilities or sexual preferences. Our recruitment process is merit-based, ensuring fair treatment to every applicant.
