The role: We are hiring a Recruitment Consultant with potential growth into a Director role to help lead and grow our US operations. This is a hands-on 360 role that combines delivery, client management, and leadership, giving you the chance to be directly involved in both day-to-day recruitment and the wider growth of the business.
You will take ownership of key client relationships while developing new partnerships across the semiconductor and electronics industry. Alongside your own delivery work, you’ll guide and support a small team of recruiters, helping them stay focused, maintain standards, and improve performance as the team continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop client relationships across the US semiconductor and electronics industry.
- Identify, approach, and win new business opportunities.
- Take ownership of several existing key accounts and ensure consistent delivery.
- Training and coaching the recruiting team.
- Oversee and support recruiters on day-to-day sourcing and candidate management.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from client brief to placement.
- Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in every interaction.
- Collaborate with the Founder to shape business strategy and growth plans.
- Represent Nexus in the market and help strengthen its brand presence.
Who you are:
- Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience within semiconductors, power electronics, electronics, or a related technical field (NOT IT).
- Proven success as a 360 recruiter with proven success as individual billings.
- Strong background in business development and client relationship management.
- Confident communicator with strong commercial awareness.
- Organised, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a remote setup.
- Ability to manage workload around US hours (until 4pm Central Time).
- Empathetic, driven, and able to lead by example.
