Block Manager – Birmingham – £40,000pa Nexus Recruitment have been instructed by an established real estate firm In Birmingham. Our client have opened their Block Management department earlier this year and are looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee their portfolio of 500 unis across 17 developments. Core responsibilities: Management of 500 units across Birmingham, attending site visits when required Management of all section 20 major works for the portfolio, liaising with external contractors to ensure H&S and Compliance regulations are adhered to Working with accounts team to prepare and manage the service charge budgets Dealing with LPE1 forms Managing various on site staff, cleaners etc This is a huge opportunity for an individual to come in and eventually lead the Block Management department, running the company’s first leasehold portfolio. Ideally, you will have at least 2 year’s experience in the industry and can self-sufficiently manage your own portfolio.
