Objective: To help the Engineering Manager develop the engineering aspects of Nexus Packaging Ltd’s new extrusion blow moulding operation, ensuring optimal machinery performance, continuous process improvement and innovation in production techniques. Key Roles and Responsibilities: The Senior Engineer will be joint second in command to the Engineering Manager, and will lead the engineering department, helping with all technical aspects of the blow moulding operation. Aspects include maintenance, training, development, tools and equipment etc. Contribute to and implement the training program with the Manufacturing Director for the Engineers. Develop the team to understand key areas of the Nexus Operation. This includes improving machine-specific skills such as blow moulding processing, parison programming, new tool implementation etc. Also includes training on compressors, chillers, electronic panel etc. Help train production staff on machine adjustments eg. blowpin adjustment, cleaning the heads.
