Position: Intervention Team Teaching Assistant (Level 3)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (term time only)
Working Hours:
- Monday – 8am – 4pm
- Tuesday to Thursday – 8am – 3pm
- Friday – 8am – 1:30pm
Salary: NJC 15‑20 FTE £31,015 - £33,673 (actual £23,889.93 - £25,937.31, inclusive of provisional 3.3% cost of living pay award)

Contract type: Full Time (Term Time Only) / Permanent

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to pupils with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, ensuring safety and facilitating access to learning.
- Work as part of a team to support whole class lessons, group work, and one‑to‑one sessions.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene needs such as toileting and nappy changing.
- Make judgements on attainment and progress, celebrate achievements, and promote a positive learning culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in mainstream or specialist settings.
- Knowledge of SEN and experience responding to emotional, social and mental health needs desirable.
- Flexible, committed, and able to work as part of a supportive team.
