Responsibilities: Our Teaching Assistants work as a valued part of the class team to support the physical and emotional wellbeing of our pupils. The role is varied, active, and rewarding. You will support whole class lessons, group work and one-to-one sessions, respond to individual needs such as personal care and hygiene, create a safe learning environment and assist with educational, medical, moving and handling and bespoke interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Passionate and enthusiastic about making a difference
- Experienced in managing premises and hold relevant qualifications
- Able to lead and work effectively and supportively as part of a committed team
- Able to solve problems
- Positive, ambitious and forward-looking
- Resilient and easily adaptable to change
- Knowledge of SEN will be advantageous
- Ability to respond to the emotional, social and mental health needs of children and young people
