Join the Nexus team as an Intervention Lead at Lotus Academy. This is a full-time (term time only) permanent position, working 37 hours per week.

About our School:

Lotus Academy is a new school within Nexus Multi–Academy Trust. We are committed to improving all areas of the school and our new curriculum will enable students to access learning in various ways. Our pupils have complex Social Emotional and Mental Health needs and thrive in a safe, creative, and stimulating environment that emphasises nurture and strong relationships with staff and peers. Individual Support Plans reflect their Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes, risk assessments, and necessary interventions for progress.

We seek an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner for the Intervention Lead role, ideally with experience in special needs education and a passion for supporting children's learning and development. The role involves:

  • Co-ordinating targeted interventions as part of the Graduated Response.
  • Analysing areas of need for each pupil and providing high-quality interventions.
  • Co-ordinating the intervention team and timetabling staff.
  • Supporting learners' personal and social development through a holistic approach.
  • Building strong trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Managing and coordinating a small team.
