We are looking for a Delegate Acquisition & Research Executive to join our growing meritocratic team. You will be responsible for collecting and maintaining accurate data that supports the marketing, sales and editorial teams. Using a variety of online and public sources, the role is responsible for a number of key projects that include:
- Researching our markets to find potential delegates or speakers for our events/publications
- Researching which key decision makers should attend our events.
- Conducting initial outreach to key decision makers to explore whether they would like to be involved in our events.
- Potential to support content and editorial team with research of speakers and content.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar role or recruitment/head hunter researcher. The role requires strong attention to detail, in addition to excellent analytic and communication skills, as well as being organised, ambitious and driven. This role is hybrid in our office in Southwark/London.
Research data records, sources and sales prospects using the internet and tools such as LinkedIn and Cognism to identify key contacts and their relevant information. This is a fixed term contract role that will benefit from competitive pay and incentivisation structure, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role.
Candidate requirements
- Background in a similar delegate acquisition or recruitment/head hunter research role is required.
- Experience within a similar data research/acquisition role.
- Knowledge of subscription-based data tools such as HubSpot and Cognism an advantage.
- Strong research skills with the ability to source data under own initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills and the ability to manipulate data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable contacting and liaising with senior executives.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to work efficiently and independently, demonstrating initiative, flexibility and adaptability.
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal communication skills with a can-do attitude.
- Desire to work as part of a results-focused, scaling team and towards collective goals and deliverables.
