An exciting opportunity for an ambitious self-starter has arisen to join the team at Nexus Media Group. Based in our Southwark London office, this role requires an enthusiastic, driven individual to work across the portfolio. You will be joining a small but ambitious team with extensive growth plans that include several new launches. You will thrive in a start-up culture and be excited by working in a company that empowers their salespeople to try new initiatives and identify new revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Make sales across our portfolio of events and magazines
- Proactively sell to both new and existing clients
- Create and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company’s client base
- Produce bespoke event proposals in line with the clients' budgets and requirements
- Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships
- Manage the prospect database to ensure it is constantly updated and is fit for purpose, utilising the CRM to full effect
- Participate in familiarisation trips, networking events and client entertaining
- Carry out competitor analysis
- Experience of Social Care selling a distinct advantage
- Experience using HubSpot CRM or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable experience in a comparable event sales role
- Proven ability to hit/exceed targets
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Experience working within fast-paced environments
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
