Join a leading analytical services as a Senior Analytical Scientist, an essential role in developing analytical methods, solving complex issues, and ensuring seamless client project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the workload of Development Scientists.
  • Develop, and validate analytical methods per client and regulatory standards.
  • Create study protocols, reports, and work instructions.
  • Support sampling and testing plans to meet study needs.
  • Serve as an analytical subject matter expert in client interactions and provide project updates.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to quality management systems.
  • Mentor team members through performance reviews and development planning.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemistry or related life science.
  • 5+ years in a regulated analytical lab with expertise in method development.
  • Team leadership experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in HPLC, GC, MS, and Chromatography Data Systems (CDS).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • GxP experience.

Pay range and compensation package

  • Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum.
  • Annual bonus: £1,200 (performance-based).
  • Flexible working options (e.g., fixed days off).
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays; option to buy an extra week.
