We’re supporting a specialist life sciences manufacturer as they expand their QA function. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced QA professional to step into a senior role where quality genuinely matters.
You’ll lead a small QA/QC team, own the Quality Management System, and ensure the site meets ISO, GMP, MHRA and FDA requirements. Perfect for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, regulated environment.
What You’ll Do As QA Manager- Lead and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Oversee GMP compliance and deliver training
- Write, revise and approve SOPs
- Manage internal, supplier and customer audits
- Handle non‑conformances, complaints and CAPAs
- Act as QA Subject Matter Expert
- Manage a small team of 4
- Experience in a senior QA role within pharma/life sciences
- Strong knowledge of ISO, GMP and quality systems
- Audit experience (internal/external)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
- A BSc or MSc degree in a scientific subject or equivalent experience
- Microbiology testing experience (bonus)
