We're supporting a specialist life sciences manufacturer as they expand their QA function. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced QA professional to step into a senior role where quality genuinely matters.

You will lead a small QA/QC team, own the Quality Management System, and ensure the site meets ISO, GMP, MHRA and FDA requirements. Perfect for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, regulated environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Oversee GMP compliance and deliver training
  • Write, revise and approve SOPs
  • Manage internal, supplier and customer audits
  • Handle non‑conformances, complaints and CAPAs
  • Act as QA Subject Matter Expert
  • Manage a small team of 4

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in a senior QA role within pharma/life sciences
  • Strong knowledge of ISO, GMP and quality systems
  • Audit experience (internal/external)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
  • A BSc or MSc degree in a scientific subject or equivalent experience
  • Microbiology testing experience (bonus)
