We’re supporting a specialist life sciences manufacturer as they grow their QA function. If you’re detail‑driven, GMP‑savvy and ready for a role where quality genuinely matters, this is one to explore.
Full time | Permanent | On site
This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a senior QA role within a global life sciences leader. You’ll take ownership of the Quality Management System, lead a small team, and ensure the site continues to meet ISO, GMP, MHRA and FDA requirements. Perfect for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment where quality is truly valued.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll lead and continuously improve the site’s Quality Management System, including:
- Leading, controlling and improving the ISO 9001 QMS
- Managing GMP activities and delivering GMP training
- Writing, revising and approving SOPs
- Performing internal audits, supplier audits and hosting customer audits
- Managing complaints, NCRs and CAPAs
- Acting as the departmental SME for quality activities
- Supporting FDA‑related systems for the CTS laboratory
- Supervising the QA Assistant and QC Assistant
- Preparing monthly quality metrics and management information
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a senior QA role within an ISO/GMP‑regulated environment
- Strong understanding of ISO standards, quality systems and audit practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and influence
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset
- A BSc/MSc in a scientific discipline
