Are you driven, detail-obsessed, and ready to take the lead on complex drug safety decisions? I’m supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Wrexham as they expand their Drug Safety & Information function with a Drug Safety Executive. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where you’ll own end-to-end signal management and play a key part in ensuring patient safety across a diverse product portfolio.
The Role
- Leading and conducting all aspects of signal management – from detection through to assessment
- Chairing product safety signalling meetings
- Driving process improvements and consistency across safety operations
- Applying scientific and clinical judgement to evaluate complex and sometimes conflicting safety data
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences
- Strong experience in pharmacovigilance, specifically signal management
- In-depth knowledge of current PV legislation and its practical application
- Broad medical terminology and disease pathology understanding
- Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and organisational ability
- Confidence using a pharmacovigilance safety database
