A global pharmaceutical organisation in North Wales is seeking an experienced Senior Equipment Officer (QC Systems) to play a key role in leading a team to manage and maintain critical laboratory equipment and computerised systems.

The ideal equipment officer would be someone with strong experience working in a GMP analytical or QC laboratory doing computer system validation (CSV) who wants experience leading a team.

The suitable equipment officer would have the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities * Lead a team responsible for calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of QC equipment. * Provide technical expertise on laboratory instrumentation, from procurement and qualification through to validation and lifecycle management. * Manage and support GMP-relevant QC computerised systems (e. g., Empower), including user administration, audit trail reviews, and data integrity compliance. * Deliver validation activities, including protocol writing and execution, particularly for computer system validation (CSV). * Support QC operations through deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality within QC.
