We're Hiring: Technical Sales Engineer
£52,000 - £58,000 + 15% Performance Bonus | Hybrid (2 Days/Week) |

At Nexus Industrial Memory, we specialise in industrial-grade memory and data storage solutions. We're not your typical distributor - we're a value-added partner who builds lasting relationships and provides genuine technical expertise to our clients.
We're a small, agile team of 5 where every contribution matters.
Now we're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who can blend technical knowledge with relationship building to help us grow our UK & Ireland business.
What You'll Do as our new Technical Sales Engineer:
Technical Expertise:
- Master our product lines and become a trusted advisor to clients
- Understand complex industrial applications and propose tailored solutions
- Stay current with memory technology trends and innovations
Business Development:
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities
- Nurture relationships through long sales cycles (4 months - 3 years)
- Represent us at UK and German trade shows, engaging and qualifying leads
Strategic Impact:
- Translate customer insights into marketing content ideas
- Use LinkedIn and CRM tools to research targets and manage pipeline
- Contribute to our overall sales and marketing strategy
Collaborative Culture:
- Work closely with our international manufacturing partners
- Be part of an "all hands on deck" team environment
- Share your perspective from customer meetings to help us improve
What We're Offering
💰 Competitive Package:
- Base Salary: £52,000 - £58,000
- Performance Bonus: Up to 15% (potential total package £59,800 - £66,700)

About You
Essential background and skills:
- Degree or strong background in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Excellent communication skills—you can explain complex tech clearly
- Proactive, resilient, and driven to achieve objectives
- Comfortable working in a small team environment
- Valid UK driving licence
Highly Desirable (nice-to-haves!):
- Previous technical sales or business development experience
- B2B sales track record with long sales cycles
- Experience in building and maintaining client relationships
