Summary of role: The Floater role provides flexible administrative support across the Back Office functions. This is an exciting and varied role offering the opportunity to work across a range of Back Office teams, including patient registrations, referrals, medicines management, and clinical documents. No two days are the same, giving you the chance to develop a broad skill set, gain experience across multiple services, and play a key role in supporting high-quality patient care. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Main duties of the job:
- Work flexibly across teams and sites to meet operational demand.
- Use initiative and sound judgement within role boundaries.
- Be proactive in identifying areas for service improvement.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy, organisation, and time management.
- Participate in mandatory training, appraisal, and continuous professional development.
- Provide cross-cover across Documents, Records/Registrations, Results, and Medicines Management teams based on demand and service pressures.
- Work flexibly and adapt quickly to different workflows, systems, and priorities.
- Process administrative queries from clinicians, patients, and external providers in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with policies and coding standards.
- Liaise with clinicians, hospitals, pharmacies, and other stakeholders to monitor shared inboxes and ensure all communications are actioned or redirected appropriately.
- Ensure all work is completed within agreed turnaround times and service standards.
Qualifications:
- GCSE/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience
- Experience working with patients or in a customer-facing environment
- Experience in a healthcare or GP setting
