We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contract Maintenance Manager to take overall responsibility for the delivery of facilities management, operations, maintenance and engineering services across a major healthcare facility in Suffolk. This is a senior management position overseeing a 24/7/365 operations and maintenance service, managing a diverse technical workforce and acting as a key point of contact between the contractor and client.
The successful candidate will ideally come from a healthcare facilities management, hard FM, building services, engineering or maintenance background and will have proven experience managing technical teams, subcontractors and service delivery within a regulated or critical environment. The position operates Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30, with responsibility for supporting emergency situations outside normal working hours. The successful candidate must be able to attend site within approximately one hour when required.
Key Responsibilities
- The Contract Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the maintenance and facilities management operation, including the supervision of a multi-skilled workforce delivering planned, reactive and statutory maintenance across the facility.
