An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area General Manager to oversee the delivery of hard facilities management services across a portfolio of critical sites. This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence, leading multiple site teams, maintaining exceptional client relationships and ensuring contractual performance across a multi-site portfolio. This role would suit an experienced Area General Manager with a strong background in technical building services in critical environments.
The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will take full operational responsibility for approximately five sites, ensuring safe, compliant and commercially successful service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team of Site Managers, Supervisors and Engineering teams across multiple locations.
- Taking ownership of operational performance, contractual compliance and client satisfaction.
- Managing profit and loss, budgets and financial performance across the portfolio.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior client representatives.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- Ensuring statutory compliance, health and safety regulations are met.
