Nexus Careers is working with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an experienced M&E Project Manager for a prestigious flagship landmark building in Central London.
This is a high-profile opportunity to manage a varied programme of mechanical and electrical small works projects valued up to £250,000.
The successful candidate will operate in a highly visible environment, working closely with the client, site engineering team, contractors and senior stakeholders.
The role would suit an ambitious Project Manager from a strong technical M&E, building services or engineering background who is looking to take ownership of projects at one of London's most recognisable properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical, electrical and building services projects from initial concept through to completion.
- Deliver small works and lifecycle projects valued up to £250,000.
- Produce project programmes, cost plans, scopes of work and delivery schedules.
- Manage project budgets, variations, procurement and financial reporting.
- Appoint, coordinate and manage specialist subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required standard.
- Work closely with the client, technical teams, consultants and senior stakeholders.
- Manage RAMS, permits, compliance documentation and project handover information.
- Identify additional project opportunities and support the development of the site project pipeline.
- Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience managing M&E, building services or facilities management projects.
- A strong technical background within mechanical, electrical or building services engineering.
- Experience delivering projects within occupied commercial or critical environments.
- Proven experience managing projects valued up to approximately £250,000.
- Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, quotations, variations and cost control.
- Excellent contractor, client and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant technical, engineering or project management qualifications.
- A professional, organised and confident approach suited to a flagship client environment.
Package and Benefits
- £80,000 basic salary.
