We are recruiting for an experienced Design Manager to lead the coordination and delivery of design activities across a portfolio of major data centre developments. Working within a multidisciplinary project team, you will manage external consultants, engineers and specialist contractors throughout the design lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and the highest technical standards. This is a hybrid position, with travel to sites as required.
The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background and experience delivering complex building services or mission critical projects through all stages of design and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will take ownership of the design management process across multiple projects, ensuring design information is coordinated, technically compliant and delivered in line with project programmes.
- Working closely with architects, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will oversee design development from concept through to construction, ensuring technical solutions meet operational requirements and industry best practice.
- The role will involve coordinating design reviews, managing technical risks, monitoring design progress and ensuring effective communication among all parties.
