Our client is seeking dedicated mobile Grounds Maintenance Operatives to maintain several contracts. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you’ll play a key role crucial role in ensuring that our clients Landscaping projects and contracts are maintained to the highest of standards. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative your responsibilities will include the following: We are seeking a passionate and reliable Grounds Maintenance Operative with a track record in Landscaping to join our client’s team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in overseeing Landscaping projects that involve the maintenance of high end Commercial and Domestic sites. Key Responsibilities: · Mowing, edging, and aerating lawns. · Applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides as needed. · Planting, pruning, and maintaining shrubs, trees, and flower beds. · Watering plants and managing irrigation systems. · Maintaining pathways, driveways, and hardscaping features. · Weeding and mulching garden beds. · Collecting and disposing of garden waste and litter. · Ensuring cleanliness of the grounds. · Using and maintaining grounds maintenance equipment like mowers, trimmers, blowers. · Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety issues. · Performing seasonal activities such as leaf collection in the fall or snow removal in winter. · Adhering to health and safety regulations. · Using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices. · Working with other maintenance staff to coordinate tasks and schedules. · Communicating effectively with supervisors regarding job progress and any issues. · Engaging with the public or clients when necessary, addressing concerns or questions about the grounds. We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who has the following skills and qualifications: · Full UK Driver’s License is essential · Experience as a Grounds Maintenance Operative · Experience working on High end sites · Experience using power tools such as a Strimmer, hedge cutter, lawn mower etc. · Industry Specific qualifications e.g. (Spraying Licenses or Horticulture qualifications) The Offer: · £26,000 – £33,000 · Career progression · Training and development · 8 – 4:30 Working Hours · Discretionary Bonus (After 6 months to be illegible) · Company Vehicle (After 3 months to be illegible)
