The Role
You will take overall responsibility for the delivery of engineering services across the site, leading the engineering team and ensuring critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure is operated safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities will include
- Managing and developing the site engineering team
- Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance
- Ensuring the resilience of critical M&E infrastructure
- Managing engineering incidents and technical escalations
- Overseeing contractors and specialist service partners
- Managing safe systems of work and permit procedures
- Supporting shutdowns and critical maintenance activities
- Ensuring statutory compliance and engineering best practice
- Driving site performance, reliability and continuous improvement
- Building strong relationships with the client and wider operational teams
Experience Required
We are looking for an experienced engineering professional with a strong technical background in a critical or high-profile environment.
Relevant experience may include
- Critical banking or financial sites
- Data centres
- Mission-critical facilities
- Large corporate headquarters
- High-profile commercial buildings
Candidates may currently work as an Engineering Manager, Technical Manager, Technical Services Manager, Critical Services Manager, Senior Engineering Manager or Engineering Operations Manager.
Previous experience leading engineering teams and managing critical M&E infrastructure is essential.
